This is a live document we can all share, add to, edit, revise, etc.

Right now I'm integrating the new projects Connor sent me on the Projects area on the front page. Each project should have an article with more info that I can link the images to, as well as put up links on the main menu. I'll be redoing that as well. The bones are in place so "all" we have to do is add content.

How do we want to organize all these projects? We can do by type, or geographic location, or scale, etc. We can cross-link of course, but for the main menu, we'll have to choose one. Off hand, I'd say by project type. So all geothermal goes under one heading. Any suggestions on category headings for everything?

I'll be adding some marketing/communication items throughout in BLUE.

 Utah Hydrogen Project

A: Press release announcement of the project

B: Press release in California – CaFCP office hydrogen event – State of California energy office press release for Utah hydrogen to California (Sacramento)

C: Press release in Utah – State Capital and Governors office event

D: Press release in international media outlets Identify which PR company/companies we will be interfacing for each project and country.

E: Meet with California buyers and secure contracts - initial startup production – long term purchases

F: Emery County Town Meeting
Will need to develop a community outreach program to make the transition as smooth as possible. Folks will have a ton of questions, and we'll need to address those concerns before they turn into problems. Will probably need to duplicate efforts on other projects/locations as well. Website, zoom-meets, in-person.

G: Organize Hy-15 from LA to SLC

H: Organize HyFuels stations development with Berkshire

Initial monies in: Call to action

  1. Get HR up and running. Probably going with outsourcing first? I've got some 3rd party recommendations for HR outsourcing to hit the ground running, also got some feelers out for HR head. Going to be a busy department! One top priority is getting an HR handbook up and running, as well as on-boarding training materials so folks who are not Hydrogen- savvy can quickly come up to speed. Probably need to go with some engineering staffing solutions for starters. Need to figure out our Covid strategy and policies.
  2. Compliance officer and legal needs to also get up and running along with a Records Manager for keeping track of all the filings, corporate records, licenses, as well as keeping an ongoing formal logbook of company's decisions and activities. Related to the Corporate library which includes photos, videos, etc. of projects history and growth.
  3. Hire engineering
  4. FEED Study for plant location – 60 acres
    1. Permitting for production facility
  5. Purchase Gas Company assets. Their historical data and financials will need to be integrated into our ERP system.
  6. Secure water supplies and natural gas supply
  7. Marketing department development – Quinn’s input here
    1. First item of business is to figure out how WTG is going to be organized in respect to marketing. Probably corporate oversight from a centralized location interfacing with local reps/projects/countries. Which means, I need to come up with a tentative org chart and budget - which I've been working on. Obviously UK will have an office. Need to discuss. Where are we going to put everybody? Working at home is a start...
    2. Rule of thumb - 10%-11.7%  of yearly budget falls to marketing. This company will be no exception. There's A LOT of companies/products/services that we'll be offering all over the globe in multiple languages. Obviously will be working on a budget and marketing plan.
    3. Build an entirely new market for the HyFuels in multiple countries simultaneously. This means building the assets in order to advertise and market. This means high end video (both studio and location), 3D animation, print design, social media campaigns, non-profit outreach (great source of "free" labor once they realize how beneficial these fuels will be), public education, multimedia, advertising print/online/social/broadcast, co-branding ops (all those sport cars are going to come in handy), sponsorships, influencers campaigns, threat analysis, grant writing for multiple projects and countries, and the list goes on and on. All this requires a whole lot of warm bodies, equipment and money.
    4. Along the same lines - need to continue to build out the market for hydrogen. Sames as above. What does the hydrogen economy mean to the general public? Why should they care?
    5. Get some real psychoanalytic data, demographics, and real-world consumer beliefs and public's perception on various related subjects - climate change, hydrogen, renewable energy and so on.
    6. We've got B2B and B2C models to simultaneously develop on multiple projects/goods/services
    7. IT department is not exactly marketing, but will be necessary for support, tracking employees equipment/software, developing out our IT stack, and so on. When I was a marketing consultant many years ago, IT was constantly getting in the way of marketing as well as profitability. The arrogance of these departments were off the charts, and in fact, a bunch of IT hillbillies were running these companies into the ground. We need to avoid this type of setup. I've got a plan for this.
    8. Begin talks with Hollywood about an eventual reality show - unlike anything ever seen. The sheer scope of this enterprise is unprecedented. We can position ourselves as the de-facto agent for massive world change - exactly what this planet needs- as well as make it all sexy with all the toys and sheer scope of the projects. Hence, I'm also thinking about "character" of the company. We've got multiple locations/countries - a ton of projects and toys - great characters - what's not to like about all that?
    9. Simultaneously, we've got to get ready for the show coming up in Sept. I can't speculate what that will look like until we've got cash in hand and how many months we have. Typically these are year-long ramp ups. We might get four months? Going to have to move FAST on this one. We will have to outsource assets/animations due to the extreme deadline. I've got people lined up, and companies I've worked with in the past so we can move immediately on this.
    10. Develop Marketing Plan
    11. Develop internal communication channels and systems and tech-stack so folks know who to contact and how to contact based on variables. Operations manuals. How does sales interface with Marketing? Each company will have their own sales strategies, goals, etc. Those sales efforts will need to be supported with advertising/marketing assets from Creative Services. All this needs to be integrated with the ERP system and IT.
    12. One year plan. Two year plan. Five year plan. Ten year plan. Need to develop out a rough road map.
    13. Departments build-out
      1. Marketing
        1. Account Management - one way to organize is to have business be a "client" of creative services and corporate marketing. Account managers are clients, or our individual businesses advocate. They work closely with Sales/manufacturing/sales goals/marketing/creative services and stratagy to ensure
        2. Business Development
        3. Media - different from video production - responsible for visibility and execution of a campaigns including TV, billboards, magazines, influencers, radio, etc.
      2. Communications
      3. PR
      4. Grant Writing/Research
      5. Creative Services
        1. Video Production
        2. Animation and illustration
        3. Graphic Design
      6. Community and non-profit outreach
      7. Educational Department - to support our HyCampus
    14. Equipment and software. Will be always looking for co-branding opportunities including computer purchases.  All this needs to be supported by IT and interface with corporate archive and records. Might be a module or we can build one in ERP system to keep track on who has what license for what piece of software.
      1. Integrating a 3D virtual reality workflow. Since we'll be in multiple countries, this emerging tech and workflow will be critical in training, trouble-shooting, and collaborative efforts.
      2. 3D printing for R&D prototyping and possibly manufacturing
      3. Computers
      4. Software
      5. Video, photography, editing equipment
      6. 3D printing equipment - dual use here. Manufacturing/R&D/Marketing/Research
    15. It's not too soon to be thinking about making a documentary. We can capitalize on the sheer scope of this project - unlike anything the world has ever seen. So we're going to be grabbing video footage early on of everything. Will need to discuss further - but that opportunity is definitely there.
